INTERIOR
Blue cloth interior is in excellent condition. Many New parts n the past year. No cracks in the plastic, no rips, tears or stains.
New headliner, carpet, pedestal, and dash cover. Door jambs repainted. Pilot and passanger kick panels in very good condition. Windshield is very good as are all cabin windows. The rear window has some fade, or "smoking" to it but serviceable. Seat covers are in very good condition with dual front articulating seats with head rests. Rear seats are in very good condition. Baggage compartment also in very good condition.
Rated a solid 8+ out of 10.
EXTERIOR
The exterior is in very good condition. The airframe is lacking any issues, no dents, no corrosion, and has been hangared most of it's life.
The paint is original and servicable with shine. There is no surface corrosion. A few areas of small paint chips and the wing leading edges have been touched up. The overall exterior paint is in very good condition. One dent in the right wing leading edge has been bondoed. In 2000 the right elevator rib was replaced. Stabilizer abrasion boots in very good condition. All three wheel pants installed and in very good condition and without any repairs.
Rated a 7 overall out of 10. Overall white with Dark Blue stripes and Orange accent stripes.
HISTORY
Delivered to California new in August of 1978. Four California owners. Hangared most of it life and it shows. Owners have taken very good care of the aircraft and have paid close attention to maintenance and related detail items. The aircraft had the firewall replaced due to a bounced landing in 1997, at 2,650 hours. Correctly repaired and all 337s are available and in order. Very orderly, legible logbooks. Over $15,000 spent on the last three annuals ensuring everything is right. Continental Remanufactures are done to zero time-new tolerances. Same engine as the new 182s. This is a very well cared for, well maintained airplane with excellent performance. 145 knots tas on 11 gph at 8,000 feet. Take Off distance reduced 25%, Climb improved 300-400 FPM, Service Ceiling increased 3,000 feet. Useful load 1,080#. Reduced $ 95,000.
